The Best Carpet Cleaning Products to Use To…
…Clean an Immediate Spill
Wondering which carpet cleaning products you need to grab as soon as a spill happens? 1001 Carpet Stain Remover is your best bet! - Blot the area with a kitchen towel to absorb any excess liquid.

- First, vacuum your carpet thoroughly. If it’s an area rug, don’t forget about vacuuming underneath!
- Mix 1-part 1001 Shampoo with 6 parts water.
- Use a clean, colour-fast cloth to apply the solution to the stain, being careful not to over-wet.
- Once the carpet stains are gone and the carpet is dry, give it another vacuum and finish off with your favourite 1001 Carpet Fresh for even longer lasting freshness.
…Clean a Larger Area
In the spirit of the new year, you may want to give your carpets their yearly ‘spruce’. So to cover a larger area in a shorter time, you may want to reach for a carpet machine cleaner. And to get the most out of your machine, you’ll also need a carpet cleaning product that will leave your carpets looking brand new and smelling fresher than ever.
If that’s the case, you’ll need the 1001 Carpet Machine Solution which is suitable for use in all carpet machine cleaners. All you need to do is:
- Mix 4 capfuls of Carpet Machine Solution with 1L of warm water.
- Pour the mixture into the tank of the machine.
- Use the machine as per its instructions to clean the entire carpet.
- Leave the area to dry fully (this may take a little longer, but the results will be worth the wait!)
