The Recipe
- 55g butter
- 55gplain flour
- 570ml milk
- 4 tbsp brandy
- 55g caster sugar
Melt the butter in a small saucepan and sift in flour. Cook for 2 minutes and then stir in the milk. Bring to the boil, stirring all the time, and simmer gently for 10 minutes.
Stir in the brandy and sugar before serving with your Christmas pudding

- Scrape up all residue with a blunt knife.
- Blot the area with kitchen towel to absorb any excess liquid.

- Scrape up all residue with a blunt knife.
