How to Clean a Fluffy Rug

Step-by-Step Guide:
Things you will need
Vacuum
Bucket
Soft brush or sponge
Clean, lint-free cloth
Water

Step 1: Vacuum the Rug
Firstly vacuum the rug ensuring you remove any loose dirt or debris to make the cleaning process more efficient.

Step 2: Mixing the Formula
In a bucket add 1 part shampoo with 6 parts water and mix together.

Step 3: Apply the Formula to the Rug
Apply the solution to the rug using a soft sponge or brush. Work the solution into the rug in a circular motion and ensure you aren’t being too rough with the fibres.

Step 4: Leave to Dry
Allow your fluffy rug to air dry completely and avoid waking on it to prevent dirt attaching to it whilst it’s drying.

Step 5: Vacuum
Once the rug is dry, vacuum again to remove any excess product.
